Air Fryer Plantain Chips with Zesty Yogurt Dip

Crispy Smashed Plantains, a nutrient-dense, flourless alternative to traditional chips, paired with a zesty, high-protein Greek yogurt dip. Ready in under 25 minutes.
Instructions
- Wash and peel 2 green plantains. Cut them into 18 thick slices (approx. 1 inch each).
- In a bowl, toss the 18 slices with 2 tbsp olive oil and coarse sea salt. Optional: Add a dash of garlic powder here for extra flavor.
- Line the air fryer with parchment paper. Arrange slices in a single layer and air fry at 180°C (350°F) for 7–8 minutes.
- While still hot, place each slice between parchment paper and gently smash using the bottom of a glass.
- Brush the 18 flattened discs with any remaining oil from the bowl.
- Air fry a second time for 3–4 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Prepare the dip by whisking Greek yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, sriracha, and ketchup until smooth.
- Serve the 18 crispy plantains immediately while hot.
