This Natural Home Remedy features morning and night drinks and is very effective. This simple home remedy syrup helps soothe coughs, cold and sore throats β and it only takes 3 core ingredients!
Instructions
- Grate or finely chop the fresh turmeric root and fresh ginger root. Combine them with whole black peppercorns and 1 cup of water in a small saucepan.
- Combine 1 tablespoon of the prepared concentrate with warm water and fresh lemon juice.
- Combine 1 tablespoon of the prepared concentrate with warm milk of your choice.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
- Add a pinch of cayenne pepper to jumpstart your system.
- Add a pinch of cinnamon for soothing recovery.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture cool completely.
- Once cooled, strain the liquid into a clean jar or bottle, discarding the solids.
- Stir in raw honey to your desired sweetness. Avoid overheating the concentrate after adding honey to preserve its natural benefits.
- Store the concentrate in the refrigerator.
