Winter Immunity Bars

These Winter Immunity Bars are no-bake, naturally sweetened and full of healthy energy for cold weather. Made with dates, nuts, seeds, oats and a touch of maple syrup, they are a great snack for busy days, kids, lunchboxes or a quick breakfast. Fresh, wholesome and so easy to make.
Instructions
- Soak the dates in hot water for about 10 minutes, then blend into a smooth paste.
- Heat a pan and dry-roast the almonds and cashews for a minute.
- Add pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, oats, flax seeds, chia seeds, and both sesame seeds to the pan. Roast until they lightly pop and turn aromatic.
- Add the butter (optional) for extra crunch and aroma.
- Pour in the date paste and mix well so everything comes together.
- Add the raisins and switch off the heat.
- Add the maple syrup and combine thoroughly.
- Spread the mixture on a tray, press it down firmly, and freeze for about 1.5 – 2 hours.
- Cut into bars and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
