A simple way to grow chia microgreens at home using only a veggie tray and paper towels. It takes just 7 days, and these fresh greens can be used on soups, salads, and wraps. These chia microgreens are fresh, mild, and packed with nutrients. Perfect for everyday meals.

Instructions

  1. Take a clean veggie tray (I reused a mushroom tray).
  2. Line the tray with 2 damp paper towels.
  3. Sprinkle 1 tbsp chia seeds evenly over the damp paper towels.
  4. Spray water gently over the chia seeds.
  5. Keep the tray in a bright spot, but avoid harsh direct sunlight.
  6. Spray water gently every day to keep the seeds and paper towels moist.
  7. In 7 days, the chia microgreens will be ready to harvest!
