Instant red lentil & oats flatbread — no soaking, no flour, high protein! Quick, healthy & filling meal idea. This is a no-soak, instant flatbread recipe made from red lentils and oats. No fermentation. No flour. No soaking needed! Soft, flavorful and packed with plant protein and fiber — perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Instructions

  1. Add red lentils, oats, garlic cloves, ginger, green chili (if using), and water to a blender.
  2. Blend the ingredients into a coarse batter.
  3. Let the batter rest for a maximum of 5 minutes while preparing the dip. If enjoying without the dip, no resting is needed.
  4. Mix the finely chopped dill, salt, turmeric, and cumin coriander powder into the batter.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the yogurt, 1-2 tablespoons of dill, and black salt to taste (about 1/4 tsp) for the dip.
  6. Heat a greased pan over medium heat. Pour the batter onto the pan to form mini pancakes.
  7. Drizzle olive oil over the pancakes, cover the pan, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Serve the hot pancakes immediately with the prepared yogurt dip.
