Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan, then add cumin seeds and chopped onion. Sauté until the onion softens.
  2. Add the blended tomato paste (with garlic, ginger, and chili) and all the dry spices (salt, cumin-coriander powder, turmeric powder). Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is fragrant and the oil starts to separate.
  3. Stir in the boiled chickpeas and chopped fresh dill. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Garnish with extra fresh dill and serve hot.
