Instructions

  1. Cut 100g tofu into cubes. Coat the tofu cubes with 1/2 tsp corn starch and 1/2 tsp oil. Set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, bring 1 cup water to a boil for the Maggi noodles. In a separate pan, heat 1 tbsp oil.
  3. Add the coated tofu to the hot oil and sauté until golden on both sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, combine 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp ketchup (or preferred sauce), 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional), and a splash of water. Mix well.
  5. Once the tofu is golden, pour the prepared sauce over it and let it sizzle for about 1 minute, coating the tofu.
  6. Add the Maggi noodles (from 2 packets) to the boiling water. Cook according to package directions, being careful not to overcook to avoid sogginess, typically 2-3 minutes.
  7. Drain the cooked Maggi noodles and add them along with the Maggi masala seasoning packets to the pan with the sauced tofu. Mix everything well to combine.
  8. Garnish the prepared Maggi with the halved boiled egg, finely chopped 1/2 tomato, finely chopped 1/2 small onion, and 1 tbsp chopped spring onion greens. Serve hot and enjoy!
