Instructions
- Cut 100g tofu into cubes. Coat the tofu cubes with 1/2 tsp corn starch and 1/2 tsp oil. Set aside.
- In a saucepan, bring 1 cup water to a boil for the Maggi noodles. In a separate pan, heat 1 tbsp oil.
- Add the coated tofu to the hot oil and sauté until golden on both sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp ketchup (or preferred sauce), 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional), and a splash of water. Mix well.
- Once the tofu is golden, pour the prepared sauce over it and let it sizzle for about 1 minute, coating the tofu.
- Add the Maggi noodles (from 2 packets) to the boiling water. Cook according to package directions, being careful not to overcook to avoid sogginess, typically 2-3 minutes.
- Drain the cooked Maggi noodles and add them along with the Maggi masala seasoning packets to the pan with the sauced tofu. Mix everything well to combine.
- Garnish the prepared Maggi with the halved boiled egg, finely chopped 1/2 tomato, finely chopped 1/2 small onion, and 1 tbsp chopped spring onion greens. Serve hot and enjoy!
