Turn extra-firm organic tofu into a crispy, flavorful, air-fried snack that’s coated with a sweet and tangy sauce and paired with a creamy yogurt dip. It’s kid-approved, crunchy, and perfect for snacking or serving at parties.
Instructions
- Take 350g of extra-firm tofu, pat it dry using a paper towel to remove moisture.
- Crumble the dried tofu into small popcorn-sized pieces with your hands.
- In a mixing bowl, add tomato paste, ketchup, honey, sesame seeds, olive oil, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and cornstarch.
- Mix until smooth to create the marinade.
- Add the crumbled tofu to the bowl with the marinade and gently mix until each piece is well coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
- Grease the air fryer basket and air fry the coated tofu for 10 minutes, making sure to flip it halfway through for even crisping.
- While the tofu is air frying, mix yogurt, paprika, chili flakes, Italian seasoning, olive oil, black salt, and black pepper in a separate bowl until creamy.
- Once the tofu is golden and crisp, serve immediately with the creamy yogurt dip.
