Instructions
- Prep Sugar if you don't have powdered sugar: Grind your granulated sugar with 1 tsp of cornstarch to create a fine powdered sugar.
- Cream Butter & Sugar: Use a hand mixer to beat the softened butter and sugar together until soft and fluffy.
- Mix Flour: Add half of the flour and a pinch of salt. Mix on the lowest setting until combined. Add the remaining flour.
- The Cold Kitchen Hack: If the dough is too crumbly due to the cold, add 1 tbsp of milk. Use the warmth of your hands to gently knead the mixture until it comes together into a smooth dough.
- Rest: Let the dough rest for a few minutes before rolling. If its hot , chill it for sometime in fridge.
- Bake: Preheat your oven to 160°C (325°F). Bake for 15–20 minutes until set but still pale.
- Cool: Let the bites rest on the tray for 10 minutes to firm up before moving them.
