Turn extra-firm organic tofu into a crispy, flavorful, air-fried snack that’s coated with a sweet and tangy sauce and paired with a creamy yogurt dip. It’s kid-approved, crunchy, and perfect for snacking or serving at parties.

Instructions

  1. Take 350g of extra-firm tofu, pat it dry using a paper towel to remove moisture.
  2. Crumble the dried tofu into small popcorn-sized pieces with your hands.
  3. In a mixing bowl, add tomato paste, ketchup, honey, sesame seeds, olive oil, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and cornstarch.
  4. Mix until smooth to create the marinade.
  5. Add the crumbled tofu to the bowl with the marinade and gently mix until each piece is well coated.
  6. Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
  7. Grease the air fryer basket and air fry the coated tofu for 10 minutes, making sure to flip it halfway through for even crisping.
  8. While the tofu is air frying, mix yogurt, paprika, chili flakes, Italian seasoning, olive oil, black salt, and black pepper in a separate bowl until creamy.
  9. Once the tofu is golden and crisp, serve immediately with the creamy yogurt dip.
