Turn a classic Indian dish into something new and fun! 🌮✨ In this recipe, I’m making crispy poori (fried bread) and filling it with a quick chickpea curry – served just like tacos. It’s crunchy, flavorful, and perfect for a light meal or snack.

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough with flour, water, and oil. Rest it while making the curry.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan, add onions and green chili, and sauté.
  3. Add turmeric, salt, cumin-coriander powder, and tomato paste. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add chickpeas, mix, cover, and cook for 5 minutes. Garnish with cilantro.
  5. Roll out small poori rounds and fry until golden and crisp on both sides.
  6. Fill each poori with chickpea curry, garnish with onions and herbs, and serve like tacos!
