🏠 Cuisine: Indian 🍽️ Course: Main Course 👥 Servings: 4
Turn a classic Indian dish into something new and fun! 🌮✨ In this recipe, I’m making crispy poori (fried bread) and filling it with a quick chickpea curry – served just like tacos. It’s crunchy, flavorful, and perfect for a light meal or snack.
Instructions
- Prepare the dough with flour, water, and oil. Rest it while making the curry.
- Heat olive oil in a pan, add onions and green chili, and sauté.
- Add turmeric, salt, cumin-coriander powder, and tomato paste. Cook for 1 minute.
- Add chickpeas, mix, cover, and cook for 5 minutes. Garnish with cilantro.
- Roll out small poori rounds and fry until golden and crisp on both sides.
- Fill each poori with chickpea curry, garnish with onions and herbs, and serve like tacos!
