This Savory Buckwheat Pancake, also known as फापरको रोटी or कुट्टू का चीला, is a quick, healthy, and gluten-free meal option. Packed with protein, it’s made with buckwheat flour, egg (optional), onion, dill, corn, and peas, offering a flavorful breakfast, lunch, or light dinner. It can be prepared in under 15 minutes.
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients (buckwheat flour, egg (if using), chopped onion, chopped dill, corn, green peas, and salt) into a smooth batter, adding water as needed.
- Heat the pan over medium heat.
- Add 1 tbsp of butter to the heated pan.
- Pour one ladle of batter onto the heated pan and spread it like a roti.
- Cook until golden on both sides.
- Add cheese to one half of the pancake and then flip it over to fold in half.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
