Better Than Store-Bought Seed Crackers
🍽️ Course: Snack 👥 Servings: 6
These homemade seed crackers are better than store-bought — clean, crunchy, and made with just seeds, water, and simple pantry ingredients. No flour, no preservatives, and no complicated steps. If you enjoy healthy snacks that are easy to make at home, this recipe is for you. These crackers bake up perfectly crisp and store well, making them great for meal prep, lunchboxes, or evening snacking.
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Add all the seeds to a bowl.
- Pour in the water, olive oil, and garlic powder (if using).
- Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
- Let the mixture rest while the oven preheats — this helps the seeds absorb water.
- Grease the tray with a few drops of olive oil.
- Spread the mixture thinly and evenly on a lined baking tray.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the edges look crisp.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool completely before breaking into crackers.
- Enjoy on its own or with your favorite dip, such as hummus, yogurt dip, avocado spread, or a creamy cottage cheese dip.
