Make simple, healthy, and gluten-free rice crackers right at home! Perfect for sensitive stomachs or gastritis-friendly diets, these crackers are made from cooked rice and require just a few gentle ingredients. They’re crunchy, lightly seasoned, and free from spices that can irritate your stomach. You’ll love this recipe because it uses only 4 ingredients, requires no kneading or complex steps, is gluten-free and gentle on the stomach, and is crunchy and perfect as a snack or light bite.
Instructions
- Place cooked rice in a blender. Add 1–2 tbsp water and blend until smooth, like a thick batter. Add a few drops of olive oil if needed.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Spoon and spread rice paste evenly (1.5–2 mm thick). Smooth with a spatula dipped in water.
- Sprinkle a few sesame or flax seeds for gentle crunch. I have used both.
- Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F). Bake for 25–30 minutes until dry and crisp but not browned. Reduce heat if edges brown too quickly.
- Let crackers cool fully to reach maximum crispiness.
